Our purpose

We’re passionate about helping organisations find and communicate their purpose. This exploration informs the brand messaging, visual identity and marketing actions that are delivered by our creative team. The result is marketing, design and web work that eclipses original expectations.

We started Shake It Up Creative for several reasons. We wanted a successful business that we could be proud of whilst maintaining our work-family life balance, as that’s crucial for us. However, the very first reason we wanted to grow a design and marketing company was that we wanted to deliver personalised, creative services to clients in a cohesive way.  A way that defied agency stereotypes and exceeded expectations.

We are friendly, honest, flexible and a Director oversees every client project. We also don’t make any organisation commit to an ongoing contract unless they want to.

Why Shake It Up Creative Ltd?

Shake It Up Creative has a fantastic team that expands when large projects require it. What we really enjoy the most is when we can become an external part of an internal team. Getting to know an organisation and working across our range of skills and seeing that business grow…to be quite honest it gives us a real buzz. We like being on hand to help business owners and managers focus on what they do best and hand the creative side over to the experts. We work with our clients, not just for them.

We run workshops and speak at events, you’re welcome to ask us if you are looking for a marketing conference speaker or need training delivered in relation to one of our core skillsets. We are happy to discuss larger marketing agency subcontracting needs, one-off projects and retainers alike, say howdy.

Our team of professionals is led by Directors Meg and Rachael, with a combined 30 years’ experience in branding, graphic and web design, UX and marketing.

Meg Fenn, BA., MA Design Studies

Meg is a skilled web & graphic designer working in Photoshop, InDesign, WordPress, CSS and other design platforms. She is trained in social media and has experience delivering marketing projects including social media and e-newsletter campaigns, direct marketing, print management, strategy and planning. Meg is client-facing, collaborative and passionate about helping her clients achieve their goals.

Rachael Dines, DipM MCIM Chartered Marketer

Rachael is trained in digital and traditional marketing, PR, copywriting and search engine optimisation, is an advisor for Enterprise Nation and a mentor for CIM studying members. She has extensive experience delivering marketing projects including strategy and planning, copy editing and PR. Rachael is client-facing and enjoys the variety her work brings and helping businesses grow through their marketing activities.
