Why choose Shake It Up Creative as your marketing and design company?
In 2015 our Director Rachael had been a marketing freelancer for six years and was ready to get all grown-up. She started to think about how she could become an agency without being an agency.
What?
She was aware of the stereotypes and the preconceptions that a creative marketing agency can have but that wasn’t her. Under no illusions, she knew she would be in a crowded marketplace and would be starting with a shoestring budget. However, it felt important to defy the agency typecast whilst furnishing clients with marketing brilliance to help them grow.
Several cups of tea (okay, and glasses of rosé) later, Shake It Up Creative launched with a bang that Autumn and since then, brilliant clients, award wins and fantastic collaborations have become part of our normal.
Today, the team continues building on the trusted reputation already in place. Every member of the agency team is passionate about their craft and keen to share their ideas. Shake It Up Creative delivers cohesive, effective, creative services in a friendly, personal way.
What we enjoy the most is when we can become an external part of an internal team. Getting to know an organisation, providing a range of our marketing services and seeing that business grow happily…to be quite honest it gives all of us a real buzz.

Rachael has over 20 years’ experience covering both in-house and agency-side marketing and PR. Rachael is a BIPC Expert in Residence, an Enterprise Nation advisor, a mentor for CIM studying members and is an expert adviser on various funded business support programmes. She is trained in digital and traditional marketing, PR, copywriting, social media and SEO. A regular event speaker, Rachael has spoken at Enterprise Nation events, WordCamp London, for the Princes Trust Brighton and Hampshire, Brighton SEO, on BBC Radio Sussex and live on the LBC Radio Clive Bull Business Show. Rachael enjoys the variety her work brings and helping businesses grow through their marketing activities.
