Once upon a time, we were two freelancers with complementary skills who often worked on client projects together. We delivered some great work and knew we could be delivering even better work as a permanent team. So, we decided to come together to create a design and marketing agency that we could be proud of. We wanted to deliver cohesive, effective creative services in a friendly, personal way. We wanted to defy agency stereotypes and exceed client expectations. We wanted to be successful and profitable while still maintaining our work-family life balance, as that’s crucial for us. However, it was challenging to enter a crowded marketplace without lots of cash.
So we set up our collaborative initiatives, including our drop-in help hubs and our annual ShakeToCreate competition to set us apart. Now, our clients continue to love the fantastic results they get from working with us on their design, web, marketing, PR and SEO projects. We love what we do and our clients love our work. They put their trust in us time and time again to do a great job for them. And our story continues to evolve. We are becoming a more purpose driven company and working with organisations on all aspects of their marketing with a flexible and friendly approach.

Shake It Up Creative has a fantastic team that expands when large projects require it. What we really enjoy the most is when we can become an external part of an internal team. Getting to know an organisation and working across our range of skills and seeing that business grow…to be quite honest it gives us a real buzz. We like being on hand to help business owners and managers focus on what they do best and hand the creative side over to the experts. We work with our clients, not just for them. Meg is a skilled web & graphic designer working in Photoshop, InDesign, WordPress, CSS and other design platforms. She is trained in social media and has experience delivering marketing projects including social media and e-newsletter campaigns, direct marketing, print management, strategy and planning. Meg is client-facing, collaborative and passionate about helping her clients achieve their goals.

Rachael is client-facing and enjoys the variety her work brings and helping businesses grow through their marketing activities.
