Based in Worthing, Shake It Up Creative is a leading marketing and web agency in West Sussex that helps businesses stand out – with style, strategy and substance. Our sectors of strength are arts & culture, hospitality and charity. 

Led by Rachael Dines, a Chartered Marketer and appointed member of the West Sussex Economic Strategy Board, we are known for our straight-forward advice and collaborative mindset.  We also run free online help sessions with our #ShakeItHUB initiative and provide pro bono mentoring through partner organisations. We’ve supported hundreds of startups, non-profits and growing SMEs with smart marketing campaigns, branding work and website expertise. What’s the Shake It Up Creative story?

In 2015 our Director Rachael had been a marketing freelancer for six years and was ready to get all grown-up.  She started to think about how she could become an agency without behaving like an agency.

Let’s explain.

She was aware of the stereotypes and the preconceptions that a creative marketing agency can have but that wasn’t her. Under no illusions, she knew she would be in a crowded marketplace and would be starting with a shoestring budget. However, it felt important to defy the agency typecast whilst furnishing clients with marketing brilliance to help them grow.

Several cups of tea (okay, and glasses of rosé) later, Shake It Up Creative launched with a bang that Autumn and since then, brilliant clients, award wins and fantastic collaborations have become part of our normal. 

Our free help hubs launched just after Shake It Up Creative was born and over the years we have set up various partnerships and learning opportunities.  We are proud to be growing as a purpose driven company too.

Today, the team continues building on the trusted reputation already in place. Every member of our marketing company here in Sussex is passionate about their craft and keen to share their ideas. Shake It Up Creative delivers cohesive, effective, creative services in a friendly, personal way.
