When we decided to create our #ShakeToCreate competition, there were lots of reasons behind it:
- we wanted to ‘give back’ with our skill set and ‘pay it forward’ with our time, in return for the opportunities we have had and the support we have each been given over the years
- we knew 50 hours of work would make a great case study to demonstrate our expertise
- we thought there would be lots of young companies desperately in need of free creative hours and we could help at least one of them
There were so many deserving businesses that entered and it took us quite some time to choose. We considered what each business had in place already, what they needed from us and why, when they needed it and whether we could gather all of this information from their video pitch. We watched each pitch at least twice and then we made a list to help us decide. Honestly, it wasn’t easy.
Anyway, without further ado…. we are delighted to announce that the winner is… Rosa Roberts of Sketchout.
Sketchout teach people how to draw and sketch, with classes held in some of England’s most famous galleries. Rosa and her team inspire people to get creative; they learn how to draw in perspective and compose landscapes, how to draw faces and learn about the fundamentals of drawing. Sketchout receive glowing testimonials from class participants and have some very exciting opportunities coming up that the company would not be able to take full advantage of without the help of Shake It Up Creative. So please join us in congratulating Sketchout on winning Shake To Create 2016 and keep your eyes open for some of our collaborative work over the coming months.
“I just wanted to say thanks again for choosing me. It was the best news ever! I’m really looking forward to working with you guys”– Rosa
Our next #ShakeToCreate competition will run from October 2016 until January 2017.
