The workshop will cover important and useful SEO (search engine optimisation) activities that can be done by business owners who have websites. The aim of this workshop is to inform website owners about the actions they can take to improve their SEO and in turn, improve their search results rankings. We will demonstrate how to carry out these tasks and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. Information about the benefits of paying for keyword research and how to implement the findings will also be included. The SEO workshop will cover:

  • What search engine optimisation is and how it works
  • An overview of the different types of on-site and off-site SEO activities
  • Keyword research and website implementation
  • Local SEO including Google My Business
  • How to get started with Google Search Console and use it for improving online presence
  • How to use your website analytics to improve your SEO
  • SEO myths and guidance tips
